Shivani, daughter of famous Telugu actors Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, has been making headlines even before her acting debut.
Rumours were rife that she would be making her Tamil and Telugu debut with director Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki. However, it fizzled out and the actress moved on to listening to scripts for her debut film.
Adivi Sesh also revealed that the makers are trying to make the Telugu film peppier than the original.
“When Telugu audiences saw 2 States, they found it a bit too slow. While maintaining the tone and retaining the emotions of the original, we hope to make the remake peppier. By this, I don’t mean adding needless comedy. I’m talking about the way the film will be presented,” he told Firstpost.
Debutant director Venkat Reddy will helm the project, which will go on floors sometime in March this year. Meanwhile, the team is looking to rope in the rest of the cast and crew.
