NEW DELHI: In a goodwill gesture, Hero Cycles on Saturday came forward to help a girl from Vizhuppuram, Tamil Nadu after she donated Rs 9000 towards the Kerala flood relief.
Anupriya had been saving the money for four years to buy a bicycle for herself. But as Kerala is witnessing worst floods in close to a century, the girl decided to donate all her piggy bank savings for the flood victims.
The girl’s gesture was appreciated all over the social media, including Twitter after a user posted about the same.
Reacting to the post, Hero Cycles said it appreciated Anupriya’s gesture towards humanity. “Dear Anupriya, we appreciate your gesture to support humanity in the hour of need. You would get a brand new cycle from us. Please DM your address or contact us at email@example.com,” the cycle company posted on Twitter.
